The Minnesota Certification Board (MCB) is a non-profit agency dedicated to protecting the citizens of Minnesota by ensuring that certified professionals working in a wide range of professions are providing safe and competent services to the public. The MCB is a member board of the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC).

The new Peer Specialist website was created to provide information and resources to support and promote workforce development in the service areas across Minnesota. The website was developed through a Department of Human Services funded grant. The website provides information that may be helpful to those interested in becoming a peer or for those entering the peer specialist workforce, or for those already providing peer services. The website includes community events, career opportunities and pathways, education, and training offerings among other informative topics.
