The Minnesota Certification Board (MCB) is a non-profit agency dedicated to protecting the citizens of Minnesota by ensuring that certified professionals working in a wide range of professions are providing safe and competent services to the public. The MCB is a member board of the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC).

Learn MoreThe Minnesota Certification Board (MCB) is pleased to announce a new opportunity for scholarships for the Peer Recovery Specialist certification (CPRS) and Peer Recovery Specialist Reciprocal (CPRSR) certifications, through the Department of Human Services funded grant. The Peer Recovery Specialist scholarship will be available March 1, 2023. We are notifying candidates in advance that may be interested in certification as a CPRS or CPRSR at no cost. This scholarship is to promote workforce development for new candidates into the service areas in Minnesota. This scholarship is only available to CPRS and CPRSR applicants completing the IC&RC peer recovery exam. We have a limited number of scholarships that will be awarded on a first come basis to those that complete the CPRS or CPRSR application packet and meet all requirements for certification.
