Letter to MCB:
Greetings from a former Minnesotan!  As part of my career I've been involved in four different states around certification issues.  I can't say enought about Bonnie Freeland and the Minnesota Certification Board and my experience with it through the years.

As a professional who values the standards the field is setting for chemical dependency counselors, I would readily recommend anyone to work with the Minnesota Certification Board!  I've referred many new counselors to go through the process over the years and have heard many comments about the helpfulness of the MCB with the process.  Having experiences with other states and various boards only makes my respect for MCB more credible.  I only wish I could keep my certification with MCB as it's so helpful.

I've served as Clinical Director for Hazelden in several sites and am now with the Caron Foundation as a clinical director at their new site in Texas.

I will continue to support staff through their professional groth and tell those who get certified in MN through MCB to be grateful.
